Project - Community Kitchen

To bring the benefits of natural gas to the Mozambican community is a primary objective of the MGC which recently built and offered a Community Kitchen (the first in Africa) to the people of the residential neighborhood of Mussumbuluco in Matola, an area where electricity is scarce and cutting of trees for fuelwood and charcoal is frequent. The kitchen is equipped with areas for preparation of meals, showers with water heated by gas water heaters, laundry and convenience store.
