Costa do Sol wins 10th champion title

The Costa do Sol won the national football championship again, the Moçambola, after 12 years without lifting the trophy of the largest football competition in the country.

The officially sponsored MGC team finished the race with 66 points, six more than the runner-up. The canarinhos also had the best attack of the race with 56 goals scored.

As an official sponsor, MGC congratulates the Costa do Sol Sports Club for the achievement of the Moçambola 2019. The canarinhos have thus won their 10th title of National Football Champion, equaling the Ferroviário de Maputo at the top of the teams with the most championships won.

Costa do Sol will represent the country in the qualifiers of access to the group stage of the African Champions League in football.
