Costa do Sol African runner-up in basketball

Sponsored by MGC, Costa do Sol's senior women's team was a finalist in the African Basketball Champion Clubs' Cup.

The competition took place in Maputo from the 9th to the 17th of December and in the final, held at the Académica pavilion, Costa do Sol lost to Sporting Club da Alexandria, from Egypt, by 65-58.

Even failing in the final, the club was twice represented in the team of the tournament, by Ingivild Mucauro and Eleutéria Lhavanguane. The MVP of the competition completes the list, Hager Amer, Egyptian from Sporting de Alexandria, teammate Reem Mousa and Nigerian from Kenya Ports, Ifunaya Okoro.
